This festive dish is perfect for sharing at holiday gatherings, combining rich flavors with a fun, interactive way to enjoy your food!
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Take your camembert wheel and place it on top of the bread, use a knife to cut around the circle of the wheel. Scoop out the bread in this circle. Go around the bread cutting slices about 3/4 of the way down the bread. Cut in as many as you like - the more slices you make, the more people can share! You'll be able to use these bits to make this into a Christmas tear n share bread.
Mix Garlic and Olive Oil:
- In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, rosemary, salt with olive oil. Drizzle this mixture over the bread, making sure it seeps into the cuts.
Assemble the Cheese Bowl:
- Place the Camembert cheese wheel in the center of the bread, allowing it to fill the space created by the sliced bread.
- Sprinkle black pepper over the cheese and add fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme if desired (or drizzle with olive oil, garlic and rosemary)
Bake:
- Place the prepared bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the Camembert is soft and gooey.
Serve:
- After baking, Drizzle with honey Sprinkle with pomegranate
or raspberries if desired.
