Cooking Instructions

1

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

2

Make the Marinade:

In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil, ⅓ teaspoon freshly ground mixed pepper, and a pinch of salt to taste. This marinade gives the salmon a perfect kick!

3

Marinate the Salmon:

Pat the salmon steaks dry with a paper towel. Brush both sides generously with the marinade.

4

Add Aroma:

Place the salmon in a baking dish. Sprinkle the orange zest evenly over the top for a bright, citrusy flavor. For extra aroma, arrange orange slices and rosemary sprigs around the salmon.

5

Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is cooked to your liking. Don't overcook to keep it juicy!

6

Serve:

Remove from the oven and drizzle with homemade tartar sauce (recipe below, 1-2 tablespoons per portion). Serve immediately to savor the incredible flavors!
