Marinate shrimp with paprika, lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and 1 tbsp olive oil for 10 minutes.
Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
In a dry skillet over medium heat, sear shrimp for 1 minute per side until just cooked (don't overcook!).
Add butter and garlic to the pan with the shrimp, sautéing until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Pour in a splash of reserved pasta water (adjust for desired sauce thickness). Stir in parsley and cooked pasta. Toss well.
